Professional Development Meeting - Tuesday, September 10, 2019

We are pleased to invite the area's supply chain community to attend this joint meeting of the APICS Triangle Chapter with ISM (The Institute for Supply Management), and CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).

Speaker:  Christine Miner, Regional Manager, Supply Chain Solutions, Expeditors International

In the role of Regional Manager of Supply Chain Solutions, Christine Miner designs a range of solutions that help customers re-think their supply chain.  

Prior to joining Expeditors in 2017, Christine worked for global automotive suppliers as well as a global chemical company. Her combined experience spans 29 years in manufacturing, serving in key supply chain leadership positions including Purchasing, Customs, and Six Sigma Continuous Improvement roles positively impacting both North and South America operations.  That diverse experience has helped her develop an understanding of how the dynamics within each unique supply chain needs to work in harmony to create a truly successful end-to-end model. Her leadership of multi-regional teams in North and South America has fueled a multi-cultural approach to business. She is enthusiastic about process improvements with an innate ability to break down complex problems in order to build up the storyboard and solution set.

Christine has received certification in VAVE, as a Six Sigma Black Belt, and earlier in her career both the CPM and CPIM designations from ISM and APICS, respectively. She has a BS from the college of Engineering at Michigan State. When she’s not leading customers in optimizing their supply chains, she can be found at her cottage in Michigan relaxing with family and friends around a competitive game of euchre or enjoying a leisurely ride on her pontoon boat.
